Freight Charges

Freight charges may apply. Any such charges will be communicated to the customer at the time of the quote or shortly after.

Customer's Option for Self-Arranged Freight

We understand that some customers prefer to manage their own freight arrangements. If you choose this option, our Sales Representative will be happy to guide and assist you throughout the process. Just give us a minimum of 48-hours' notice before arranging your freight collection.

Delivery Methods & Notifications

To ensure a smooth delivery process, we work with various transport companies, selecting the most suitable option based on the item purchased and the delivery location.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email containing the name of the courier or freight company along with an estimated delivery date. Rest assured, our delivery driver will get in touch with you before the scheduled delivery.

Cottage Delivery & Special Requirements we need to deliver

When it comes to Cottage delivery, we make sure to deliver your purchase within 20 meters of an accessible, unobstructed entry, accommodating the vehicle delivering the product. For special requirements concerning larger mobile homes, we utilize semi-trailers and tilt trays, and the customer (you) is responsible for offloading the Mobile Home at the final destination. We will communicate on site requirements you will need to arrange.

Defects & Damaged Items in Transit

Should any items arrive with defects or damages, please notify us within 5 days of delivery. You can reach us via phone at 0412 680 366 or email us at admin@cottagecabins.com, providing images and relevant details. We'll promptly respond to assist you further.

Storage Policy

If your product remains available for delivery but is not claimed within 7 days, storage fees may be incurred. The storage charge will be determined solely at the discretion of Cottage Cabins and calculated at a daily rate of 0.5% of the purchased price, billed in 24-hour blocks.

Please Note: Cottage Cabins is not liable for any additional fees, permits, costs, or charges imposed by the delivery location. Unloading at the destination is the responsibility of the purchaser, and we recommend ensuring the delivery site is clear, easily accessible, and, if needed, equipped with a forklift.
