WARRANTY & REGISTRATION

At Cottage Cabins, we take pride in our commitment to warranty coverage and excellent customer service. To activate the warranty, the purchaser must register the Mobile Home within 30 days of receiving it. Registration involves submitting three photographs of the finished installation.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Rest assured, our warranty coverage reflects the confidence we have in our products:

  • 3-Year Structural Frame Warranty: All our Structural frames are protected by a comprehensive three-year warranty. If any issues arise, Cottage Cabins will handle repairs or replacements at our sole discretion.

  • Limited 6 month Fixtures, Fittings & Finishes Warranty: If any warranty issues arise, Cottage Cabins will address them by either repair or replacement, subject to our discretion. Please note that the warranty does not cover any transport & travel costs, removal & disconnection of services, installation & reconnection of services, or removal and replacement of furniture. and you will be charged for these costs. Items damaged due to excessive wear and tear will not be covered.

CLARIFICATIONS & IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Warranty replacements do not cover disposal of fixtures and fittings, termination and reconnection of services, or removal and replacement of furniture.

  • Any modifications made to the Mobile Home that could impact a warranty claim will void the warranty. Please exercise caution, as all modifications are done at the Purchaser's risk and responsibility.

  • The Finishes warranty may be affected if the Mobile Homes are located too close to bodies of saltwater or directly exposed to saltwater.

  • Pest control is the responsibility of the owner, and depending on the nature of the warranty claim, we may request proof of pest control.

COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT

We adhere to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), specifically Sections 51 to 53, 64, and 64A of Part 3-2, Division 1, Subdivision A. In case of any breach of this agreement, our liability is limited to one of the following options at our choice:

  • Supplying the goods or services to you again

  • Replacing the goods

  • Paying the cost of having the goods or services supplied to you again

PRICING, ORDERS & PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

To facilitate a smooth and transparent process, here are some important points:

  • Quotes and invoices are valid for 7 days from the respective dates.

  • To secure stock, a 30% deposit is required within 48 hours from the invoice date. Failure to make the payment within this timeframe will result in items being returned to stock for other purchasers.

  • Full payment must be received 5 weeks prior to dispatch. Delayed payments may affect the order schedule based on product availability.

  • Lead times for product availability may vary based on factors such as availability and other considerations. While we strive to provide accurate estimates, these lead times are subject to change without prior notice.

SPECIAL ORDERS & CUSTOMIZATION

Once a special order has entered the manufacturing stage, no further changes or cancellations are possible. For comprehensive details, please reach out to your dedicated Sales Rep.
